The Bird Book Project

a fabulist fantasy novel about a dying folklore, the consequences of generational silence, and the women who might rescue the stories that once held a community together.

the novel includes:

  • a world where stories have physical consequences

  • a community that burned the truth it couldn't face

  • a lineage of mystic listeners who are dying out alongside the birds

  • and the women who will have to decide if it's all worth saving
